AI Detectors Are Killing Great Writers
Unreliable AI Detection tools are only complicating the creative process and some truly great writers are paying the price
Medium and other platforms are really strict when it comes to finding content that is supposed to have been written by AI. The truth is that they should be tough on it, but these AI detectors are not the answer. The truth is they are all mostly wrong and they are only tools to kill the creative process while trying to ensure authenticity.
Sophisticated AI detection models learn from whatever is ingested. Now listen here pinheads, I have a very unique style of writing. Sometimes I change my style of writing depending on the publication, their style, and their needs. It is something that we have all been doing for years. You mightb be thing that if it is unique then what is the problem? Let me explain for you who are defenders of the AI detection brainwashing community.
If I write an article in Associated Press (AP) style and you run it through an AI detector you will likely see that is says my article is likely AI generated. Even though you sat there and watched me write it and knew 100% without a doubt that it was original, the AI detectors will still likely find it suspicious. Why?
