I agree, he has no clue. None of them do. I don't care if it is Trump, Ted Cruz or John Fetterman; none of them know what it is really like to be an America. Of course it was just metaphor to prove a point. I'd like to think about this. In your comment you said "All he wants is celebrity, adulation, power, and money." This leads me a more serious question about the current state of American society. It seems like that is all this generation and the generation before it want. I see it even among the many other groups. My concern is that the desire to all of these things is taking over the desire to what the framers assumed would always be a somewhat responsible citizenry.
