Stephyn, thanks for taking the time read this. I see your point and I see what you are getting at. I think it should be pointed out that what you have Googled is the CITY OF HOUSTON facilities run on renewable energy. The entire city does not run on renewables. The Texas grid itself is only about 1/3 renewables. Houston draws from that grid so its hard to tell exactly how much renewable energy the region as a whole consumes. But you do have a point.
